Ranked #5 in Best Memory Foam Mattresses Queen

Casper Snow (Queen)

3.7

4 sources$1,899as of Aug 23

Casper mattresses are easy to try before buying, with a 100-night trial and free returns. The Casper One, the base all-foam model, aims for balanced comfort and support, which works for back sleepers but less so for side sleepers or anyone over 250 lbs. Mattress Clarity's Martin reported good motion transfer reduction and a medium-firm feel around 7/10, with some side sleepers hitting pressure points. The hybrid models add cooling features and spring support; the basic foam models stay middle-of-the-road. Average-weight back sleepers are the right buyer, and heavier or side sleepers should look at alternatives.

Strengths

— Easy to try and buy with quick shipping and store availability
— 100-night trial and free returns
— Minimalist design with smooth gray sock-style cover

Watch-outs

— Not ideal for side sleepers due to pressure points
— May lack sufficient support for heavier individuals (over 250 lbs)
— No specific foam density information provided by manufacturer

Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Adapt

4.2

4 sources$1,925as of Sep 25

The Tempur-Pedic TEMPUR-Adapt offers a plush, body-hugging sleep surface designed to relieve pressure, particularly well-suited for side sleepers and those seeking excellent motion isolation. Reviewers noted significant improvements over older Tempur-Pedic models, especially in temperature regulation and comfort, with the hybrid version featuring individually wrapped coils that conform to the body without bottoming out. However, it received lower marks for ease of movement and temperature control, and may not suit back or stomach sleepers who prefer firmer support. Sleep Doctor rated it 8.0/10, while a YouTube reviewer praised its comfort and performance after 18 years of mattress sales experience.

Strengths

— Plush, body-hugging sleep surface that relieves pressure
— Excellent motion isolation for side sleepers
— Hybrid model features individually wrapped coils for conforming support

Watch-outs

— Poor ease of movement and temperature control ratings
— Lower perimeter support rating
— Not ideal for back or stomach sleepers who prefer firmer surfaces

How they stack up

Casper Snow (Queen)

The Casper mattress offers a balanced comfort and support feel suitable for back sleepers, but it's not ideal for side sleepers or heavier individuals compared to the Saatva Loom & Leaf, which provides a softer, more conforming surface.

Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Adapt

The Tempur-Pedic Tempur-Adapt offers excellent motion isolation and a plush, body-hugging surface, but it lacks the cooling performance of the Leesa Original and doesn't provide the same level of support as the Saatva mattresses.
