Husky 5-Shelf Steel Garage Storage Shelving Unit

4.8

3 sources1 derived

Husky's 5-Shelf Steel Garage Storage Shelving Unit offers substantial 48-inch width and 24-inch depth for garage organization. 731 Woodworks reviewer noted the unit's straightforward assembly with pre-drilled holes and tab connections, though they encountered issues with fragile plastic hardware that broke during installation. The black finish helps conceal dirt and wear typical in garage settings. While the unit provides good storage capacity, the included hardware quality was a concern for users who needed to supplement with their own fasteners.

How they stack up

Husky 5-Shelf Steel Garage Storage Shelving Unit

The Husky 5-Shelf unit's 48-inch width and 24-inch depth surpass the more compact NewAge Bold Series and Gladiator GearBox, though both offer similar black finishes. Unlike the more robust Trinity wire shelving with its commercial-grade construction, the Husky unit's plastic hardware connectors are prone to breaking, while the Yizosh cabinet offers adjustable shelves and locking doors.

Yizosh Metal Garage Storage Cabinet

The Yizosh cabinet's adjustable shelves and locking doors set it apart from the Husky freestanding cabinet's fixed configuration, though both feature similar color options. Unlike the more robust NewAge Products Bold Series with its thick gauge steel and soft close hardware, the Yizosh cabinet has minor imperfections and misaligned holes, while the Gladiator GearBox offers better powder-coated durability and full locking mechanisms.
