The JBuds Mini are the tiny-and-cheap pick: among the smallest true wireless earbuds made at about 3.3g per bud, with a keychain case the size of a few coins. SoundGuys scored them 8.3/10 and called them short on size, but not on value, while TechRadar said they easily vie for a place among the best budget earbuds. The trade-offs are no true ANC and short battery life.

  • Keychain-attachable case the size of a few stacked coins

TOZO T6
Ranked #4 in Best Earbuds for Small Ears
TOZO T6
$22.99as of May 28

The TOZO T6 is the budget-and-rugged floor for small ears. RTINGS lists it as a budget small-ears pick for its six ear-tip sizes and thin profile that fits snugly in smaller ears, and SoundGuys scored it 6.9/10 with the verdict that cheap doesn't mean it's not good. It adds an IPX8 waterproof rating and long battery life. The compromises are no ANC and a very bass-heavy default tuning.

Strengths
  • Six ear-tip sizes (XS-XXL), the widest fit range here, with a thin profile for small canals
  • Extremely cheap, the lowest price in this group
  • IPX8 waterproof rating, the most rugged here, surviving submersion
Watch-outs
  • No active noise cancelling, passive isolation only
  • Default tuning is very bass-heavy and needs EQ
  • Build and materials feel budget

How they stack up

JLab JBuds Mini

The tiny-and-cheap pick. It is the smallest bud here and far cheaper than the Sony WF-1000XM5, but unlike the ANC-equipped Anker Soundcore Space A40 it has no true noise cancelling, only a passthrough mode. It matches the TOZO T6 as a budget option but wins on size while the TOZO T6 wins on battery and waterproofing.

TOZO T6

The budget-and-rugged floor. It offers the widest tip range here (six sizes) and the only IPX8 waterproof rating, beating the IP55 JLab JBuds Mini for water resistance. But like the JLab JBuds Mini it has no ANC, trailing the Anker Soundcore Space A40 and Sony WF-1000XM5, and its sound is the least refined of the group.
