Auertech 28 lb Twin Tub Portable Washer

4.3

4 sources3 derived$179.99as of Oct 1

The Auertech 28 lb twin tub washer offers exceptional capacity for a portable machine, handling up to 28 lbs of laundry with 18 lbs in the washer tub and 10 lbs in the spinner. Reviewers praised its generous load capacity, built-in drain pump that allows upward drainage, and ability to wash bulky items like bed sheets. However, users noted the need to manually reset the drain pump after each use and that setup may require watching online tutorials. This machine is ideal for those needing more capacity than standard portable washers but should be considered by users who want minimal setup complexity.

Strengths

— Generous load capacity of 28 lbs total (18 lbs washer tub, 10 lbs spinner)
— Built-in drain pump allows draining upward into a bucket or sink
— Spacious enough for everyday laundry including bulky items like bed sheets

Watch-outs

— Requires manual draining by turning wash selector dial to drain mode
— May need to watch a YouTube video for setup instructions
— Drain pump runs continuously if not reset after draining

How they stack up

Magic Chef Compact Top Load Washer

The Magic Chef Compact Top Load Washer provides a good balance of capacity and functionality for small spaces. The Giantex is more compact. The Superday's plastic build and poor spin performance make it less reliable. The Magic Chef's stainless steel tub makes it ideal for renters and dorm dwellers.

Auertech 28 lb Twin Tub Portable Washer

The Auertech 28 lb Twin Tub Washer provides the largest load capacity among portable models, surpassing the Giantex and Superday in terms of laundry volume. While the Giantex is more compact, it lacks the generous capacity of the Auertech. The Superday's plastic build and poor spin performance make it less reliable. The Auertech's built-in drain pump and spacious design make it ideal for users needing more capacity than standard portable washers.
