120W 4-in-1 GaN USB-C Charger with Retractable Cables

Cables that retract up to 27.56 inches

This 120W USB C Charger Block stands out with its compact, all-in-one design that incorporates two retractable cables. The device features a collapsible plug and two built-in retractable cables, offering enhanced flexibility for use at desks, beds, or airports. The silver finish and lightweight construction make it a travel-friendly option, with the company claiming the GaN IV technology reduces size and weight by up to 50% compared to traditional chargers.

The device includes a total of four ports: one 65W USB-C port, one USB-A port, and two retractable cables (one USB-C and one Lightning). The USB-C port is positioned as the primary laptop charger, while the USB-A port supports older devices. The retractable cables are designed to automatically retract after use, preventing tangles and keeping the charging station clean.

Performance and Efficiency

The charger utilizes GaN IV technology, which is expected to reduce heat generation and provide more stable charging compared to traditional chargers.

In terms of real-world performance, the charger is capable of delivering fast charging across multiple devices. The USB-A port supports up to 12W output, which is adequate for standard smartphones and tablets. The device is also compatible with Power Delivery (PD) and Power Preset Specification (PPS), which allows it to work with a wide range of devices including Samsung Galaxy tablets and Apple iPhones. The 120W total output is sufficient to power up to four devices simultaneously, though, as Jeff's YouTube review notes, no single port gets the full 120W.

Compatibility and Versatility

This 120W charger is marketed as a universal charging solution compatible with a wide array of devices. Jeff's YouTube review lists it for MacBook, iPad, iPhone 17/16/15/14, Galaxy and Android devices. The inclusion of both USB-C and Lightning cables makes it convenient for users with mixed device types.

The device also supports a variety of Android phones, including Google Pixel and LG models, and is compatible with gaming consoles, headphones, and smartwatches. The manufacturer claims that the charger supports PPS, which is important for newer devices that require specific voltage levels.

Safety and Protection Features

Safety features are a key selling point for the Betrusami charger, with the manufacturer claiming that it includes intelligent current matching, reverse charging protection, over-voltage protection, and over-temperature protection. These features are designed to ensure safe charging for all connected devices. The company also notes that the GaN IV chip helps minimize heat generation during operation, which is crucial for preventing overheating and ensuring long-term performance.

User Experience and Convenience

The retractable cables and collapsible plug design are major convenience features that make this charger ideal for travel and daily use. This feature is particularly useful for users who frequently travel or have limited desk space. The device is also lightweight and pocketable, making it easy to carry in a bag or travel kit.

Best for a tidy, cable-free travel setup

This 120W USB C Charger Block is best suited for users who value convenience and portability, particularly travelers or those with limited desk space. It is ideal for individuals who own a mix of devices, including iPhones, iPads, and Android smartphones, and who want a single charging solution that can handle multiple devices at once. The retractable cables and collapsible plug design make it an excellent choice for those who frequently travel or need a tidy charging setup at home or in the office.

However, users who require maximum charging speed or compatibility with high-end devices may find the charger lacking.
