A 12-inch swivel front wheel that locks straight
The front wheel swivels for manoeuvring around a store or a sidewalk and locks straight with the flick of a button for running, which is the arrangement every jogger needs and plenty of cheap ones get wrong. The 16-inch rear wheels come off with quick releases, the air tires run on ball bearings, and visible shock absorbers sit above the rear axle.
Smooth over pavement, grass and bumps
Melissa Chrisner of Beautifully Being Mom pushed it across flat pavement, grass and bumps and reported the ride stayed smooth the whole way, crediting the shock absorbers and noting her daughter stayed comfortable throughout. That is a realistic envelope for this stroller: sealed paths, park grass and curb edges rather than anything that deserves the word trail.
A UPF 50+ canopy and a five-point harness
The extendable canopy blocks sun rather than just glare, rated UPF 50+, and pulls down far enough to shade a sleeping child properly. The harness is five-point with padded shoulder straps. Reflective piping and a wrist strap for the parent round out the safety kit, and the strap in particular is reassuring the first time anyone runs behind a stroller.
Storage basket, snack tray and two cup holders
The basket under the seat swallows a bag or two, the child's snack tray swings away for loading and lifts off entirely, and there are two removable cup holders for the parent. The tray coming off easily is convenient and also the part most likely to be left behind on a park bench.
The Britax B-Safe 35 needs an adapter
It takes Graco SnugRide Click Connect and Evenflo infant seats directly, but a Britax B-Safe 35 needs a separate adapter bought on its own, which is worth checking before ordering if the car seat is already chosen. The frame is steel and light, which is what makes it easy to lift into a trunk, and also why it is not built for daily high-mileage running.
