The Real Relax Favor-03 ADV is a compact 2D massage chair that Real Relax rates for users 5.2 to 6.1 ft tall, with a dual-core mechanism that runs neck and back rollers independently. Reviewers noted the one-touch Zero Gravity recline and the 8-inch LCD controller. Full body air massage runs on 20-cell airbags, and heating therapy targets the lumbar region and calves. It skips the biometric monitoring found on higher-tier models, and users outside that height range may not fit. It appeals to anyone wanting an affordable chair with plenty of features and basic wellness functions.

Dual-Core Massage Innovation
The Real Relax Favor-03 ADV distinguishes itself through its dual-core 2D massage mechanism, which operates two independent sets of rollers for the neck and back regions. According to Real Relax's official product documentation, the neck rollers can adjust vertically by up to 3 inches, accommodating users of varying heights. The mechanism's ability to provide targeted, independent massage is further enhanced by its SL-track structure, which adjusts to follow the natural curve of the spine from neck to hip. This design approach, as described in the product manual, aims to deliver a more personalized massage experience that adapts to individual body shapes and positions.
In The Chris Review's setup and test video, the chair's app exposes separate neck and back controls, including neck intensity, back intensity and neck up/down adjustment.
Zero Gravity and Comfort Features
The Favor-03 ADV includes a one-button Zero Gravity feature that reclines the user into a weightless posture, aligning the back and legs to reduce spinal pressure. The chair's ability to achieve this posture was noted in the product manual, where it states that the Zero Gravity mode provides a slight sensation of weightlessness, helping to relieve stress and promote relaxation. The recline angle and the chair's overall design were praised for their ability to support the body in a way that maximizes comfort and massage effectiveness.
According to the product specifications, the chair's Zero Gravity function is designed to improve roller contact, which enhances the massage experience. This design element contributes significantly to the chair's overall comfort and effectiveness, especially for users who spend long hours sitting or experience chronic back pain.
Airbag and Heating Therapy
The Favor-03 ADV incorporates a 20-cell full body airbag system that covers the shoulders, arms, buttocks, calves, and feet. These airbags inflate and deflate rhythmically, providing a full-body compression massage that helps reduce stress and tension. According to the product manual, the airbags are controlled by specialized pumps and multiple air valves, ensuring that the compression massage is both rhythmic and customizable. This feature was particularly praised for its ability to target multiple areas of the body simultaneously, providing a comprehensive massage experience that complements the dual-core rollers.
In addition to the airbag system, the chair features waist and back heating therapy, which provides constant temperature heat therapy to promote blood circulation and relax tense muscles. The heating function was noted in the product documentation as being particularly beneficial during colder months, helping to alleviate stiffness and reduce stress. The combination of airbags and heating therapy creates a multi-layered approach to stress relief, making the Favor-03 ADV a well-rounded option for users seeking comprehensive therapy.
Control and User Interface
The Favor-03 ADV features an 8-inch LCD touchscreen controller, allowing users to easily navigate through various massage programs and settings. Users can adjust massage intensity, select programs, and control the airbags and heating functions, and The Chris Review found the companion app easy to use. The multi-functional button, which supports pause/resume, backrest reclining, Bluetooth connection clearing, and screen scrolling, was highlighted as a practical addition that reduces the need for complex menu navigation. According to the product manual, this button is designed to streamline common tasks, allowing users to manage their massage session with minimal effort.
The chair also includes Bluetooth connectivity, enabling users to stream music or audio during their massage sessions. The combination of the touchscreen, multi-functional button, and Bluetooth speakers provides a user-friendly experience that caters to both tech-savvy users and those who prefer simpler interfaces.
Performance and User Experience
Real Relax's product page lists 6 auto programs and 6 hand-like massage techniques. These programs were designed to address different types of tension and stress, from relaxation to sports recovery. The chair's ability to adapt to individual needs was noted as a key strength, with users able to customize their sessions based on their preferences and physical conditions. The product manual also mentions that the chair performs a full body scan upon starting an auto program, mapping the user's height, shoulder position, and curvature to ensure the rollers hit the correct points. This body scanning feature was described as enhancing the precision and effectiveness of the massage, particularly in areas like the neck and lower back where proper alignment is crucial.
In terms of performance, the Favor-03 ADV was praised for its ability to provide a deep, therapeutic massage that effectively targets tension points throughout the body. The dual-core mechanism and SL-track structure were highlighted as key components in delivering consistent, high-quality massage. The Chris Review's app walkthrough shows separately adjustable back, neck, foot and air intensity. The effectiveness of the massage was also enhanced by the chair's ability to maintain proper alignment during reclining, which ensured that the rollers stayed in contact with the body.
Limitations and Criticisms
Real Relax specifies the chair for users 5.2 to 6.1 ft tall, which may limit its appeal for anyone outside that range. Additionally, some reviewers pointed out that while the chair offers a range of features, it lacks certain advanced functionalities found in higher-end models, such as aromatherapy or negative ion therapy. These omissions were seen as a potential drawback for users seeking a more comprehensive wellness experience.
Real Relax's own FAQ also confirms the chair does not support voice control or remember preferred massage settings.
