The Tineco Floor ONE i5 Stretch vacuums and mops in one device, with 20kPa of suction and a 180-degree lay-flat body that gets to edges. Reviewers pointed to the hands-free self-cleaning and the anti-tangle roller as the features that matter most. Runtime is 30 minutes, and it charges on its dock. Several users found that half hour limiting. It suits people who want one streamlined cleaning tool rather than long uninterrupted sessions.

Clean water down, dirty water up, in one pass
The mechanism that makes this worth owning is that clean water sprays onto the roller while the roller scrapes and the suction lifts the result straight into a separate tank, so dirty water never gets spread back across the floor. Amanda at WilmingtonMom found it removed dirt more thoroughly than mopping and left no streaks when used as intended. Suction is rated 20kPa, enough for debris, spills and hair in one movement.
The roller hooks hair off itself
An anti-tangle design pulls hair off the brush and routes it into the dirty tank, where a strainer catches it. For a house with a long-haired dog that is the difference between a five-minute clean and ten minutes with scissors, and Tasha Agruso at DesignerTrapped rates the whole self-cleaning arrangement as the standout feature for exactly that reason. Self-cleaning flushes clean water through the roller and tubing while spinning it.
Lays flat at 180 degrees to go under furniture
The body folds flat so the head slides under a sofa or a bed frame that a rigid machine cannot approach, and dual-sided edge cleaning means both baseboards are covered without turning the unit around. Self-propelled wheels and swivel steering do most of the pushing. At 9.5 lb it is light enough to carry between floors, which is not true of every machine in this category.
Thirty minutes, and a dock to charge on
Runtime is 30 minutes at 210W, which covers a standard floor plan and no more. Amanda flags the battery as the constraint in a larger home, and the tanks at 0.8 L clean and 0.72 L dirty need refilling during an extended clean. Charging happens on the dock rather than through a cable into the body, so the dock has to live somewhere with a socket.
Not a replacement for a carpet vacuum
Agruso is direct about the limit: it cleans hard floors well and does not substitute for a proper vacuum on carpet. Buyers expecting one machine to cover a carpeted house will be disappointed, and that expectation is the commonest source of regret with this whole product category. On hardwood, laminate and tile it does replace two appliances with one.
It will smell if the roller is not dried
The maintenance burden is real. The self-cleaning cycle does not remove the need to empty the dirty tank and let the roller and filter dry, and owners who skip that report odour and, over time, mould. The HEPA filter needs cleaning monthly with the supplied tool. Rollers and filters are consumables. Owners who follow the routine report years of use; owners who do not report a machine that smells worse than the floor.

- +Anti-tangle brush roller prevents clogging
- +Hands-free self-cleaning function with pet hair strainer
Watch-outs
- −Limited runtime of 30 minutes

How it compares
Unlike the Roborock F25 GT, which is limited to hard floors and lacks carpet compatibility, the Tineco Floor ONE i5 Stretch offers a more versatile cleaning solution with its hands-free self-cleaning function and anti-tangle brush roller. However, it falls short of the Bissell CrossWave Edge in terms of edge-cleaning precision and the Bissell CrossWave HydroSteam in overall floor versatility. Its 30-minute runtime is also less than the Roborock F25 GT's 40-minute battery life.

“After using it for 7+ months, it cleans well and doesn't leave streaks, but it's not a substitute for a regular vacuum.”
“At $179, youre replacing a vacuum and a mop with a single device that does both jobs better than either alone, at a price thats lower than many standalone cordless vacuums without any mopping capability.”
“After mopping, I still feel like I just moved the dirt around, so I know I needed a dry and wet mop combo. That's why, for my birthday and Christmas gift to myself this year, I'm treating myself to a fancy new mop!”
