FDW 30 inch Double Door Folding Dog Crate

4.1

4 sources3 derived$29.99as of Sep 25

The FDW 30 inch Folding Dog Crate uses rust-resistant metal wire and dual-door access to give a pet a secure spot. HomeStrand reviewers pointed to the removable leak-proof tray and the fold-flat design for storage and travel. Larger dogs are a question mark, and one reviewer warned the metal bars can pinch paws while folding. Medium-sized dogs and owners who want a portable, easy-to-clean kennel are the right match.

Strengths

— Rust-resistant metal wire construction
— Dual-door access (front + side) for easy pet access
— Removable leak-proof plastic tray for easy cleaning

Watch-outs

How they stack up

FDW 30 inch Double Door Folding Dog Crate

The FDW crate offers dual-door access and rust-resistant wire, but it's not as secure as the Impact High Anxiety or Sweetcrispy models. Unlike the Diggs Revol, it lacks a ceiling hatch and diamond design, and unlike the MidWest Homes, it doesn't include a divider panel. It's a solid mid-range option but not as versatile as some alternatives.

MidWest Homes for Pets 30-Inch iCrate for Medium Breeds

The MidWest Homes crate stands out for its included divider panel and leak-proof pan, features not found in the Amazon Basics or FDW models. However, it lacks the collapsible wheel design of the Diggs Revol and the airline compliance of the Petmate Vari. While it offers solid portability, it's less versatile than the Diggs Revol for travel and more basic than the Sweetcrispy for security.
