Higher ratedRanked #3 in Best Massage Chairs
Kyota Genki M380 Massage Chair
1 sourceall derived$2,999as of Sep 25

The Genki M380 is Kyota's value flagship: a 360-degree 4-node roller on a 43-inch SL-track, full-body airbags, calf kneading and voice control, at $2,999 against a $7,999 list price. Zero-wall fit means it needs about 2 inches of clearance behind it to recline, which matters in a small room. The weight limit is 300 lb and the voice control struggles with background noise.

Strengths
  • — 360° sweeping 4-node back massage mechanism with five massage techniques
  • — Total Calf kneading and oscillating calf feature typically found on chairs twice the price
  • — Intelligent Voice Command + Control allows hands-free operation
Watch-outs
  • — Voice control is unreliable with background noise
  • — No phone app, so control is limited to the remote
  • — 300 lb user weight limit is lower than several rivals

Real Relax Favor-03 ADV
Ranked #4 in Best Massage Chairs
Real Relax Favor-03 ADV
1 sourceall derived$850as of Sep 25

The Real Relax Favor-03 ADV is a compact 2D massage chair that Real Relax rates for users 5.2 to 6.1 ft tall, with a dual-core mechanism that runs neck and back rollers independently. Reviewers noted the one-touch Zero Gravity recline and the 8-inch LCD controller. Full body air massage runs on 20-cell airbags, and heating therapy targets the lumbar region and calves. It skips the biometric monitoring found on higher-tier models, and users outside that height range may not fit. It appeals to anyone wanting an affordable chair with plenty of features and basic wellness functions.

Strengths
  • — Dual-core 2D massage mechanism with independent neck and back rollers
  • — Zero Gravity one-touch reclining feature for weightless relaxation
  • — 8-inch LCD controller and Bluetooth speaker system
Watch-outs
  • — Rated only for users 5.2 to 6.1 ft tall
  • — No heart rate or oxygen monitoring feature

How they stack up

Kyota Genki M380 Massage Chair

The rivals at this money, the Osaki OS-Champ and the Real Relax Favor-03 ADV, use simpler roller mechanisms and skip the calf kneading entirely. What the Genki does not have is app control, a deeper program library or the higher weight rating of chairs a tier above it. It is a lot of hardware for the price rather than a luxury chair.

Real Relax Favor-03 ADV

The Real Relax Favor-03 ADV provides a compact 2D massage solution with Zero Gravity recline and an 8-inch LCD controller, but it's less advanced than the Kyota Genki M380, which includes 360° massage and voice command. Compared to the Massamax MT339, it lacks 4D massage and yoga stretching, though it's more affordable.
