A 360-degree 4-node roller on a 43-inch SL-track
The mechanism sweeps in a figure-eight down the spine rather than running straight up and down, using four nodes and five techniques, and the track carries it from the neck through to the glutes. Body scanning sizes the stroke to the user before a program starts. Intensity runs low, medium and high, which covers most people and is genuinely strong at the top end.
Calf kneading and oscillation, plus sole rollers
Lower-leg treatment is the part usually cut from chairs at this price. The Genki kneads and oscillates the calves as well as rolling them, and puts triple shiatsu rollers under each foot. Combined with the zero-gravity recline, which lifts the feet above the heart, it is the most convincing part of the chair for anyone who stands all day for a living.
Two inches of wall clearance when reclined
Zero-wall fit slides the whole seat forward as the back goes down, so the chair only needs about 2 inches behind it. Upright it measures 30 inches wide, 46 long and 57 high, and reclining stretches it forward rather than backward. In an apartment or a spare bedroom that single design decision is the difference between the chair fitting and not.
Twelve programs, three memories, and voice control that misses
Twelve automatic programs and three MyMassage memory slots cover the usual ground, and spoken commands can start a program without hunting for the remote. Owners report the voice system struggling whenever there is background noise, which is most of the time a television is on. There is no phone app, so anything the remote cannot reach is simply not adjustable.
A 300 lb limit and residential-only warranty cover
The weight ceiling is 300 lb, lower than several competitors, and the warranty covers residential use only, so a chair bought for an office or a clinic is not protected. Coverage runs four years with longer structural cover on the frame. At 255 lb the chair itself is not something to reposition alone once it has been assembled.
